What inspires Jamball?

If any of you aren’t familiar with Jamball where have you been?!

Jamball are the international designers of beautiful vintage button bouquets and they are constantly looking for inspiration to keep their designs fresh and to come up with new products.

We’re very lucky to know Jamball (Jaime & Pete) on a personal level and we love hearing about what inspires them. So I thought why miss an opportunity of capturing what inspires them so they can inspire others.

Jaime’s main inspiration came from her late Nan’s button tin. Jaime used to love playing with it as a child and when her Nan died the button tin passed to Jaime. When the day came for Jaime and Pete to get married they wanted to incorporate her Nan into their wedding and made lots of corsages and decorations out of buttons. Jaime also made her own wedding bouquet and there started Jamball.

These days her Nan’s button tin still plays a big part in her life but so does sitting in her garden soaking up inspiration from craft magazines and Pinterest.

Jaime - LOVE, love, love the pictures that Lizz did from DJ Archer Photography. As I’m pretty camera shy Lizz made me feel comfortable and at ease whilst shooting away without me realising.
