Sunniest bouquet ever at this beautiful welsh wedding
Last year we were at North Wales for Ceri and James’s beautiful wedding at Bodnant Welsh Food.
The day started off drizzly but this certainly didn’t put a dampner on the wedding festivities. Especially when the gorgeous sunflower bouquets arrived.
Ceri had 4 bridesmaids and the colour scheme of blue dresses and bright yellow sunflowers looked absolutely amazing. And Ceri had the most amazing blue wedding shoes. Even the insoles were gorgeous. She certainly knows how to pick beautiful shoes.
The wedding took place at Bodnant Welsh Food (just around the corner from Bodnant Gardens) and we were hoping to visit Bodnant Gardens after the ceremony but unfortunately the rain put a stop to that. Instead, Ceri and James relaxed with their family and friends accompanied by the beautiful music from Liz Hendry.
The decor was lovely and sunny, with fairy lights, rustic hearts and sunflowers all around. They even served pimms to their guests which was very much appreciated by everyone!
When the rain finally subsided we nipped outside to take some photos of the wedding party and to admire the Volkswagen Campervan which had been painted blue specifically for the wedding. Check out the groom’s shoes too.
After the wedding breakfast (which by the way was absolutely delicious) the guests were entertained by the Live Piano Experience who certainly know how to get a party started. We were only there for a couple of songs after the first dance and the dance floor was packed.
Moments that stole the day
The amazing colour scheme – so vibrant and bright.
How completely relaxed Ceri and James were. Such a lovely couple.
James and his guests having shots at the party. Absolutely love their reactions.
