Fisherman’s Retreat Wedding
Rachael and Adam had a beautiful winter wedding at the Fisherman’s Retreat, not far from where they had their first date. We first met them for their engagement shoot at Peel Tower and immediately liked them. They are so warm and funny and very down to earth. We just knew their wedding was going to be great fun to shoot.
They also told us of a little surprise which got us very excited (Elvis was coming too!).
Rachael and her bridesmaids got ready at Tufties in Rawtenstall which was beautifully decorated with Christmas trees with lots of presents underneath. There was so much space to move around and the stylists were lovely. I think a 2nd visit might be in order (their massage rooms looked so peaceful).
Once they were ready, we travelled back to Rachael’s house to catch up with her mum and dad and get ready to travel to the Fisherman’s Retreat.
This really was a wedding full of lovely guests, some of whom we met at previous weddings so it was nice to catch up again.
It was very, very cold so massive thanks to everyone who made it outside for the group shots.
Rachael and Adam had booked our stay late package so they could have some great images of their party (and Elvis, don’t forget ELVIS!). I did try to keep the number of images down, however there were so many great dance images that I had to include loads. It really was a great party and the crowd erupted when Elvis sang Suspicious Minds.
